Encoder or capacitor?

Does the flue gas extractor start and run, but too fast or with a speed alarm, the fault points to the encoder. If, on the other hand, the motor hums without starting, or only starts when the fan wheel is given a push, it is the capacitor that is weak. Both are inexpensive to replace compared to a new motor. If it is the motor itself that is grinding or worn, it can be found among flue gas extractors.

Find the right encoder

The encoder is selected according to the stove model, which is listed in the product's list of models it fits. The lists include Angela, Debby, Klaudia and Souvenir from Extraflame, so it is quick to check whether your model is included. The encoder is located on the motor itself, and the flue gas extractor must therefore often be removed to replace it.
